  7.  The Main Screen is made up of four elements;

  19.  1 - Title and Menu lines

  21.  The top line on the screen, or Title Line,
  22.  displays the program name and version number.
  23.  The second line, or Menu Line,  displays the
  24.  currently available menu options.  The
  25.  highlighted letter of each option is the one
  26.  which invokes the action. For example, pressing
  27.  <I> at the Main Screen pops up the Incoming
  28.  Mailbox.

  30.     HINT: The first option of every menu may be
  31.           also selected be pressing <Enter>.

  35.  2 - Incoming Mailbox

  37.  Mail which others have sent to you is stored in
  38.  personal print settings.

  45.  Outgoing Mailbox.

  51.  Listed on the bottom line of the screen are
  52.  several informational items. These include;

  54.  * Your Full Name as stored on the Network
  55.  
  56.  * One or more Connection numbers for the
  57.    workstation(s) where you are logged in.

  59.  * Today's Date (based on File Server date)
  60.  
  61.  * Current Time (based on File Server time)

  100.           Automatic Polling Feature
  101.           ─────────────────────────

  103.  When the Main Screen is displayed,
  104.  approximately every five seconds polling for
  105.  new mail and acknowledgements takes place.
  106.  
  107.  When someone sends you mail, you will receive a
  108.  notification message at the bottom of the
  109.  screen.  When you press <Ctrl-Enter> to remove
  110.  the message, within five seconds the Incoming
  111.  Mailbox will be redrawn and the Incoming
  112.  Mailbox Statistics will be updated.
  113.  
  114.  When a new acknowledgement is received, no
  115.  message appears, but within five seconds the
  116.  Outgoing Mailbox will be redrawn and the
  117.  Outgoing Mailbox Statistics will be updated.

  119.  If you happen to be in a Mailbox or the File
  120.  Cabinet when new mail or an acknowledgement is
  121.  received, within five seconds of the time you
  122.  return to the Main Screen polling will occur.
